The Freak Circus is a psychological 18+ horror dating simulator and visual novel set around the arrival of a sinister traveling circus. You play as a cafe worker whose life is pulled off course after a chance meeting with Pierrot, a silent yandere whose obsession starts immediately. Then Harlequin, his seductive rival, steps in and turns the situation into a dangerous competition centered on you.
What makes the setup work is the contrast between theatrical charm and genuine menace. The circus looks performative on the surface, but the smiles, costumes, and flirtation conceal something much darker.
Story Setup
The Circus of Horrors arrives in town with strange acts, disturbing energy, and rumors of danger. On your way to work at the cafe, fate brings you face to face with Pierrot. That single encounter becomes the trigger for his fixation.
The situation gets worse because Pierrot is not the only one interested. Harlequin decides to join the game, and the story becomes a twisted rivalry driven by attraction, possessiveness, and manipulation. Instead of choosing between two ordinary love interests, you are caught between two unstable forces who both want control.

Current Features and Planned Content
The current version already includes original artwork and backgrounds, five characters, and one bad ending. It is available in English, Portuguese (BR), and Chinese, and the story currently covers the major character introductions.
More routes are planned, including endings for Pierrot, Harlequin, the protagonist, and a path involving both rivals together. The script is still in progress, so the current browser build should be approached as an active demo rather than a finished release.
